They are not child tested & it is impossible to CE test these bears individually, they should not be given to young children. Not only are there small parts attached but certain garments would inevitably wear over time, your bear may get tired & even risk ripping.
Memory Bears
Memory bears can be made from a wide range of garments. I need at least one item similar in size to a large mans shirt per bear. For smaller items, I'll need a few more. If you require more than one bear, an item can be used between all the orders.
Garments that are lighter or plainer in colour work best for the head so you can see the eyes & nose. If you don't have anything suitable, I can supply fabric at no extra cost.
If you don't have enough fabric or just one precious item that you would like to be used for more than one bear, I can also supply fabric to be used on less prominent parts of you bear to make your garment go further.
There are a few exception to garments that can't be used to make a memory bear. Some knitted items, especially hand-knitted items can be a bit tricky. If its a tight shop bought knit, then they're usually fine but lose knitted items can only be used on certain parts of the bear, the heads unfortunately don't work with such garments.
Garments with lots of Beading or netting I usually say no to, unless you can call in with it for me to take a closer look so I can be 100% sure.
Some leather or garments made from really think fabric also doesn't work. I can't work with real fur & some faux furs are too thick.
My memory bears come in one size, they are designed to be sitting upright. When sitting down they measure 13.5 inches from bum to top of ear. The whole bear measures 18inch from foot to ear.

I need a minimum of 5 long-sleeve sleepsuits aged 0-3 months per memory bear, if the baby-grow's are smaller such as new born or first size then I'll need another 4 or 5.
Its up to you if you would like to include more items in your memory bear. I can work with garments such as dresses, dungarees, tops and blankets.

School uniform Memory Bears

School uniform memory bears can come in so many different variations, it all depends on what items you want included & the size of each garment.
As a rule I ask for at least two garments per memory bear. If you only have one item though I might have to supply extra fabric for head & legs.
Garments that are lighter in colour work best for the head so you can see the eyes & nose. If you don't have anything suitable, I can supply fabric at no extra cost.
Lots of customers supply a pair of trousers or a skirt for the legs. A jumper, cardigan or hoody for the body and arms along with a lighter coloured T-shirt or polo-shirt for the head & feet.
Ties, school dresses & even blazers can be included.

Memory cushions
Memory cushions on average measure 18inch x 18inchs. I might have to make them a little bit bigger or smaller on some occasions according to the items I'm given. Each cushion has a zip on the bottom.
Cushions being returned by post will not have the inner pad included due to size restrictions. All cushions collected will include one.
My patchwork memory cushions are made up of nine patches on each side. I'll need at least 2-3 large items per cushion. If you don't have enough items, I can always just patchwork the front & supply a fabric for the back of the cushion.
Memory cushions can also be made just from one garment. I can include the collar or zip so it looks like the garment is being worn.
Baby-grow memory cushions require at least 8-9 items aged 0-3 months, any smaller & I'll need 18. Other items can be used such as dungarees, dresses, tops or vests.
Tie memory cushions require at least 7 ties per side. If you would like a double sided one I will need at least 14 ties. I usually make these cushion in a fan effect but if the ties have logos on, I can also make them in to longer rectangular cushions so the logos are displayed the correct way.

Whether its clothing from a loved one who's passed away or cherished baby-grows capturing those precious first moments, my blankets provide a beautiful way to combine various memories into one heartfelt creation
My memory blankets come in three different sizes -
Small - 75cm x 95cm - This will consist of 20 patches & I'll need a minimum of 14 baby-grows, minimum 3-4 adult items - £70 plus postage
Medium - 95cm x 130cm - This will consist of 35 patches & I'll need a minimum 20 baby- grows, minimum 4-5 adult items - £95 plus postage
Large - 115cm x 158cm - This will consist of 54 patches & I'll need a minimum of 30 baby- grows, minimum 5-6 adult items - £125 plus postage
Each Blanket is fleece backed to match the border, blanket size includes boarder.
If the baby clothes supplied are smaller than 0-3 months then I'll need double
For double blankets or custom blankets, these will be made accordingly to the items I'm given, they will also maybe backed with cotton instead of fleece.
